International Conducting Studies Conference 2019 in Sydney, Australia

The Sydney Conservatorium of Music/University of Sydney in collaboration with Oxford University are hosting an International Conducting Studies Conference 2019 2-4 August in Sydney. WASBE members are invited to consider submitting an abstract for a presentation at the conference. This is the first time that there will be a focus on wind bands so it would be wonderful to have an international presence. Details are attached. August in Sydney is also a good time to escape the summer heat! The deadline to apply is December 3 at Midnight Sydney time. More information here

Online registrations are now being accepted for the 2019 University of Central Florida Conductors Symposium, February 1 & 2 in Orlando, Florida (USA). The Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) has announced its annual programme of external conducting courses. 2018 Northwestern University Conducting and Wind Music Symposium Date: July 8th, 2018 Registration is open for the 2018 Northwestern University Conducting and Wind Music Symposium, a six-day program designed to enhance musicianship, conducting, and teaching. This year the guest clinician will be Eugene Corporon.
