The WASBE Foundation, established in 1991 and incorporated in 1992, provides benefits to WASBE members which will advance the goals and aims of the organization. Funds that support the Foundation come from the music industry and members like you. The online application for new and renewal membership provides an easy method for contributing to this important cause.

As WASBE continues to fulfill its aim (to enhance the quality of the wind band music throughout the world), it is crucial that the organization provide assistance to individual members and disadvantaged areas for conductor scholarships, innovative projects, membership development, and other essential activities.

The current projects are:

1. Commissions for new wind music
2. WASBE Participation
3. Providing Educational assistance to the less-experienced conductor and performer through International wind band workshops and symposia

Individual, institutional and trade members of WASBE are encouraged to make a donation. Trust funds for the Foundation are especially encouraged.

Persons and organizations in the US can donate money to WASBE which through the Foundation will be given tax free status. Persons and organizations that donate to the Foundation may receive an official receipt which can be used as a tax deduction in many countries.

Members who have identified an area or project which would benefit the organization are encouraged to send a proposal to the Chair of the WASBE Foundation describing the need and the implications for funding.
