The PMCP Composition Contest for Wind Ensemble has been developed to meet the following goals:

To provide a rich and unique learning experience for members of the Penfield High School Wind Ensemble

To encourage and support the creation of high quality Wind Ensemble repertoire that is appropriate for high school ensembles
Composers of all ages and from all countries are invited to enter.
Past Winners: Ian Corbett, Kansas City, Missouri, 2000; Alexandre Travassos, Sao Paulo, Brazil, 2002; John Frantzen, Silver Spring Maryland, 2004; Bill Campbell, Bettendorf, Iowa, 2006, Noah Taylor, Columbus, Ohio, 2008; J. Aaron Stanley, Redondo Beach, California, 2010.
First Prize: $1000 US Second Prize: $500 US Third Prize: $250 US
